  • Bream Head WW2 Radar Station

    This fantastic walk takes you to the summit of Bream Head in the Northland Region there are numerous chances to take in the stunning views out across the ocean and view the remains of the World War Two radar station at the top.
    The climb to the Historic World War 2 Radar Station on the Te Whara Track in Northland takes around 45 minutes, the radar station was built in 1942

    This walk is part of the Te Whara scenic reserve which covers the entire Bream Head the views at the summit are stunning we walked this track a few years ago.
